National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the indices of industrial production in January-August 2014 compared to January-August 2013 constituted 104,3%. In August 2014 compared to August 2013 the indices of industrial production registered 103,9%.
22.10.2012 Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-September 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in September 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1028,1 thou. tonnes of goods, with 12,4% more than in the previous month and with 15,9% less than compared to September 2011. The turnover of goods in September 2012 summed up 332,1 mio. tonne-km, with 12,2% more than in the previous month and with 5,7% less than in September 2012.
19.10.2012 Global agricultural production in January-September 2012
National Bureau of Statistics communicates that, global agricultural production, in all types of households (agricultural enterprises, farms and population households) in January-September 2012 registered 78,4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The decrease of global agricultural production was caused by a major decrease of vegetable production - with 33,1%, the animal production slightly falling - with 0,3%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that industrial production in January-August 2012 compared to January-August 2011 constituted 99,6%. In August 2012 compared to August 2011 the volume index of industrial registered 94,6%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in August 2012 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 3503,6 Lei, registered an increase of 10,4% compared to August 2011.
10.10.2012 External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-August 2012
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that exports of goods in August 2012 registered a value of 156,6 mio. US dollars, which is with 3,9% less than in the previous month and with 15,8% - compared to August 2011. Imports of goods in August 2012 registered a value of 406,6 mio. US dollars, which is with 2,4% less than in the previous month and with 3,3% - compared to August 2011.
01.10.2012 Elderly population in the Republic of Moldova in 2011
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that at the beginning of the year 2012 in the Repblic of Moldova lived 527,6 thousand persons of 60 years old and over, of which women represent more than a half (60,4%). Two thirds of the entire aged population live in rural area. Every third person is between 60-64 years old and 13,9% are persons wich are more than 80 years old.
