It is worth mentioning that the publication includes presentation of the main indicators in the form of maps, 46 in total, which makes it easier for visualizing.

The publication contains data regarding the system of national accounts of the Republic of Moldova for the year 2013. Tables with macroeconomic indicators that characterize the socio-economic situation of the country as a whole, by economic activities and institutional sectors are presented.

The publication contains statistics concerning the air protection in atmosphere, the use of aquatic resources, the existence of land and forestry resources, formation and use of consumption and production waste, protected natural areas, the association of hunting, violations of ecologic legislation. For the first time chapters regarding natural disasters and change of weather were included in the publication.

15.10.2014 "Women and men in agriculture of the Republic of Moldova" leaflet has been posted on the web page
Along the same objective this leaflet provides a basic gender analysis based on sex-disaggregated data collected by the first General Agricultural Census of the Republic of Moldova (carried out in 2011). It highlights main disparities between women and men engaged in agriculture in Moldova, particularly in terms of their access to assets, inputs and services. Understanding specific challenges of female and male farmers, agricultural entrepreneurs and workers will enable gender-aware decisions about the sector, leading to more effective, efficient and sustainable solutions.

National Bureau of Statistics has conducted in the period June 2011-May 2012 the statistical survey “Time Use Survey in the Republic of Moldova”. The analytical framework of SWTS allows users to assess, first, the characteristics of young people who are still in school, who are employed (including self-employment), who are unemployed or are outside the labour force for reasons other than training/learning within the education system.
