Labour force in the Republic of Moldova: employment and unemployment in the 3rd quarter 2010
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in the 3rd quarter 2010 the economically active population (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1313,8 thousand persons, with 12,9 thou. less than in the corresponding period of 2009.
Employed persons constituted 1228,4 thou. persons, with 22,1 thou. persons less than in the 3rd quarter 2009.
Number of unemployed persons, estimated according to the International Labour Office was app. 85,4 thou., less with 9,1 thou. than in the 2rd quarter 2010
