Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-September 2011

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in September 2011 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1138,4 thou. tonnes of goods, which is with 11,6% more than in the previous month and with 16,7% more than in September 2010. The turnover of goods in September 2011 summed up 341,7 mio. tonne-km, with 3,8% more than in the previous month and with 4,6% more than in September 2010.

In January-September 2011 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 7024,1 thou. tonnes of goods, with 23,4%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 2590,3 mio. tonne-km, with 17,2% more than in the January-September 2010.
