Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2012

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in February 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 401,4 thou. tonnes of goods with 4,9% less than in the previous month and with 39,2% less than in February 2011. The turnover of goods in February 2012 summed up 205,0 mio tonne-km, with 14,0% more than in the previous month and with 24,7% less than in February 2011.

In January-February 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 823,6 thou. tonnes of goods, with 27,7%  less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 384,8 mio. tonne-km, with 20,4% less than in the January-February 2011.
