The number of live-births by age group of the mother, live-birth order and area in 2011

National Bureau of Statistics informs that according to prelimionary data the number of live-births in 2011 was 39176 with 1298 (3,2%) less than in 2010. The birth rate being 11,0 live-births per 1000 inhabitants. The birth rate in rural area is higher than in urban areas, being correspondingly 11,8‰ and 9,8‰.
