Labour force in the Republic of Moldova: employment and unemployment
in the I-st quarter 2013

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the I-st quarter 2013 the economically active population  (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1121,0 thousand persons, more with 1,6% (17,3 thou.) compared to the I-st quarter 2012. The structure of the active population has changed as follows: the share of employed persons decresead from 92,8% to 91,9%, while the share of unemployed persons increased from 7,2% to 8,1%.
