Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-August 2013

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in August 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1365,7 thou. tonnes of goods with 1,1% more than in the previous month and with 36,3% - compared to August 2012. The turnover of goods in August 2013 summed up 413,3 mio. tonne-km, with 6,8% more than in the previous month and with 29,1% - compared to August 2012.

In January-August 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 7723,2 thou. tonnes of goods, with 19,3%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 2682,4 mio. tonne-km, with 12,6% more than in the January-August 2012.
