Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2014

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in February 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 671,3 thou. tonnes of goods, with 9,4% more than in the previous month and with 2,3% - compared to February 2013. The turnover of goods in February 2014 summed up 277,3 mio. tonne-km, with 22,4% more than in the previous month and with 8,2% less compared to February 2013.

In January-February 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1285,0 thou. tonnes of goods, with 22,2%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 503,9 mio. tonne-km, with 3,9% more than in the January-February 2013.
