Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2014

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in June 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1277,2 thou. tonnes of goods with 21,7% more than in the previous month and with 14,2% - compared to June 2013. The turnover of goods in June 2014 summed up 334,7 mio. tonne-km, with 4,7% more than in the previous month and with 8,5% less compared to June 2013.

In January-June 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 5552,0 thou. tonnes of goods, with 10,8%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1841,0 mio. tonne-km, with 3,5% less than in the January-June 2013.
