Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2015

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in April 2015 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 872,1 thou. tonnes of goods, with 1,9% more than in the previous month and with 13,4% less compared to April 2014. The turnover of goods in April 2015 summed up 290,4 mio. tonne-km, with 15,9% less than in the previous month and with 14,0% - compared to April 2014.

In January-April 2015 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 3186,0 thou. tonnes of goods, with 2,8% less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1117,5 mio. tonne-km, with 7,7% less than in the January-April 2014.
