Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2016

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in February 2016 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 694,8 thou. tonnes of goods, with 45,2% more than in the previous month and with 12,6% less compared to February 2015. The turnover of goods in February 2016 summed up 262,6 mio. tonne-km, with 43,2% more than in the previous month and with 6,1% less compared to February 2015.

In January-February 2016 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1173,3 thou. tonnes of goods, with 19,7%  less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 445,9 mio. tonne-km, with 11,0% less than in the January-February 2015.
