National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-September 2016, 244,6 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 155,9 thou. Moldovan tourists (63,7% from total) and 88,67thou. foreign tourists (36,3%). In comparison with January-September 2015 the number of tourists has increased (+8,6%), mainly due to the increase with 2,5 times of the number of tourists in touristic and agrotouristic pensions and with (+25,4%) in hotels and motels.
