Training for trainers on use of regional statistics

Between 21st and 22th of November 2016, 12 representatives of National Bureau of Statistics and Territorial statistical offices from Balti, Cahul and Edinet attended a "Training of Trainers" programme organised within “Improved regional statistics in Moldova” EU project.

The training programme was designed as a highly effective learning opportunity for potential trainers, using a mix of methods, including classical and online training, video recorded assignments for the multitude of users, tailored to each category of needs and preferences.

Participants were offered various case studies and practical exercises focusing on learning styles, communication and presentation techniques, methods for identifying learning needs and evaluation models of participants.

The training course was delivered by Mrs Liliana Lucaciu, key expert in capacity building, helping to increase the capacity of the National Bureau of Statistics to provide training in regional statistics field using internal resources.
