Activity of the primary and general secondary education institutions, beginning of the academic year 2017/18
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the academic year 2017/18, primary and general secondary education is provided in 1243 units, including 102 primary schools, 775 secondary schools, 352 high schools and 14 schools for children with intelectual or physical disabilities. Compared to previous academic year, the number of primary and general secondary institutions has decreased with 48 units.
