Innovation activity of enterprises in the Republic of Moldova in the years 2015-2016
The National Bureau of Statistics presents the results of the statistical survey conducted for the first time in 2017 on innovation activity in industry and services.
Indicators that refer to innovation represent a key element in monitoring the objectives of economic development of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the survey results, the number of innovative enterprises in the period of 2015-2016 constituted 673 enterprises, representing 21% of the total number of enterprises included in the survey. Of the total number of innovative enterprises, 41% made several types of innovations (of products, processes, organizational and marketing methods), 23% made product and/or process innovation, 36% - organizational and/or marketing methods innovation.
