National Bureau of Statistics informs that a number of 156,4 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodationin during the period of January-June 2019, of which 78,9 thou. of non-resident tourists (50,5% from total) and 77,4 thou. of resident tourists (49,5%). In comparison to January-June 2018, the number of tourists accommodated in the collective tourist reception facilities increased (+3,9%) due to its growth in hotels and motels (+6,2%), rest structures (+5,1%) and holiday camps for pupils (+3,6%). At the same time, the number of tourists accommodated in hostels for visitors (-12,9%), tourist and agrotouristic pensions (-4,7%) and in health-improving structures (-4,2%) decreased.
