The touristic activity of the tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-June 2021

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-June 2021 the tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 96,1 thousand tourists and excursionists, with 2,6 times more than in the corresponding period of 2020.

The increased of the number of tourists and excursionists was caused by the increase of the number of participants of outbound tourism by 45,0 thousand tourists (3,4 times) and domestic tourism by 17,2 thousand tourists (2,5 times). In the same time, the number of participants in inbound tourism (-53,5%) decreased.
