The touristic activity of the tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-September 2021

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-September 2021 the tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 264,2 thousand tourists and excursionists, with 3,2 times more than in the corresponding period of 2020.

The increased of the number of tourists and excursionists was caused by the increase of the number of participants of outbound tourism by 135,0 thousand tourists (3,7 times), domestic tourism by 35,3 thousand tourists (2,4 times) and inbound tourism by 11,8 thousand tourists (2,7 times).
