Industrial activity in January-October 2021

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in October 2021, industrial production (gross series) increased by 11,0% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, against the background of the decrease of production in October 2020 compared to the corresponding month of 2019 by 7,8%. The increase in production in October 2021 compared to October 2020 is due to the increases in the extractive industry (+7,3%), in manufacturing industry (+12,2%), generating the increase of production on total industry by 0,2% and 10,9% respectively. In the same time the production and supply of electricity and heat, gas, hot water and air conditioning registered a decrease (-2,5%), generating the decrease of production on total industry by 0,2%.
