Labour force in the Republic of Moldova: employment and unemployment in quarter III 2011

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in quarter III 2011 the economically active population (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1347,2 thousand persons, with 2,5% (33,4 thou.) more than in the corresponding period of 2010.

Employed persons constituted 1276,1 thou. persons, with 3,9% more than in III quarter 2010.

Number of unemployed persons, estimated according to the International Labour Office was  71,0 thou., less with 14,4 thou. than in the III quarter 2010.
