Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January 2011

National Bureau of Statistics informs that the industrial production in January 2011 in comparison with January 2010 increased with 9,8% (preliminary data).

The increase of the industrial production was determined by the increase of the production volume in mining and quarrying with app. 3,9 times and in the manufacturing industry with 19,4%. Simultaneously, the production and distribution of electricity and heat in the same period decreased with 5,8%.
