Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2011

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in April 2011 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 647,8 thou. tonnes of goods with 21,8% less than in the previous month and with 13,0% more than in April 2010. The turnover of goods in April 2011 summed up 266,9 mio tonne-km, with 20,6% less than in the previous month and with 8,7% more than in April 2010.

In January-April 2011 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 2623,4 thou. tonnes of goods, with 43,4%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1078,7 mio tonne-km, with 31,2% more than in the January-April 2010.
