Average earnings in May 2011

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in May 2011 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 3216,0 Lei and it increased with 12,9% compared to May 2010 and with 2,6% compared to previous month (April 2011).

The index of the real salary in May 2011 compared to May 2010 was 105,5%.

Beginning with January 2011, statistical data regarding earnings are obtained based on the new sample survey "Short-term statistical indicators" implemented according to European standards.
