Labour force in the Republic of Moldova: employment and unemployment in the IV-th quarter 2011

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the IV-th quarter 2011 the economically active population  (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1216,4 thousand persons, more with 5,5% (63,1 thou.) persons compared to the IV-th quarter 2010. The structure of the active population changed as follows: the share of employed persons increased from 92,5% to 93,8%, while the share of unemployed persons decreased from 7,5% to 6,2%.
