Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2012

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in May 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 864,9 thou. tonnes of goods with 28,8% more than in the previous month and with 26,3% more than in May 2011. The turnover of goods in May 2012 summed up 326,0 mio tonne-km, with 11,1% more than in the previous month and with 20,8% - than in May 2011.

In January-May 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 3014,4 thou. tonnes of goods, with 10,4% less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1303,0 mio tonne-km, with 4,6% less than in the January-May 2011.
