Attendance of establishments of collective touristic accommodation in January-June 2012

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2012 111,0 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 69,3 thou. Moldovan tourists (62,5%) and 41,7 thou. foreign tourists (37,5%). In comparison with January-June 2011 the number of tourists has increased with 10,9%, mainly due to the increase of the number of tourists and recreation camps, and other recreation structures (+54,2%), health-care structures (+19,6%), hotels and motels (+19,2%), tourist and agrotourist pensions (+15,7%).
