Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-October 2012

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in October 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1127,6 thou. tonnes of goods, with 10,0% more than in the previous month and with 9,5% - compared to October 2011. The turnover of goods in October 2012 summed up 345,9 mio. tonne-km, with 2,7% more than in the previous month and with 1,1% - compared to October 2011.

In January-October 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 8046,9 thou. tonnes of goods, with 2,5% less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 2905,4 mio. tonne-km, with 3,1% less than in the January-October 2011.
