The publication is structured in thirteen chapters that contain statistical data on the activity of cultural institutions, libraries, museums, theatres, cinemas, concert halls, broadcasting companies, state archives, educational institutions, containing indicators that characterize tourism, leisure, sport, mass-media etc.

The program of the compilation is filled in with some international statistics that allows comparing the level of some domestic indicators with the foreign ones.

When developing the compilation it was used the information from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, National Chamber of Book, National Archive, Company  ?Teleradio-Moldova? etc.

The publication was released in an edition of 100 copies and is available for users in the library of the National Bureau for Statistics.
