Demographic situation in the Republic of Moldova in 2012

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2012, the demographic trends are characterised by a slight increase of both, birth and general death rates as compared to 2011, as well as of the value of population natural decrease rate. The total fertility rate increased insignificantly, and registered a value of 1,28 children per woman during her fertile life.
