Dwelling stock of the Republic of Moldova at 1st January 2013
According the situation as of January 1, 2013, the dwelling stock of the Republic of Moldova represented 80163,4 thousand m2. 31077,5 thousand m2 or 38,8% of the total dwelling stock is in urban localities, and 49085,9 thousand m2 or – 61,2% in the rural ones. The level of insurance of population with dwelling stock per inhabitant represented, in average, 22,5 m2 - at the national level, 20,9 m2 - in urban localities and 23,7 m2 - in rural localities.
