National Bureau of Statistics launches a new interactive tool “Life expectancy calculator”.

The calculator calculates the estimative number of years that a person from the Republic of Moldova would live, based on the information given on sex, age (0 to 90 years) and residence area (urban/rural). There were not taken into account such factors as: health, lifestyle, family history and others, that might influence the life duration.

The calculator is available on the official page old.statistica.md on the main page and under the heading Products and services / Interactive products.
