Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-August 2015

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in August 2015 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1050,2 thou. tonnes of goods, with 5,7% less than in the previous month and with 21,1% - compared to August 2014. The turnover of goods in August 2015 summed up 322,0 mio. tonne-km, with 1,1% less than in the previous month and with 11,9% less compared to August 2014.

In January-August 2015 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 7510,4 thou. tonnes of goods, with 9,7% less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 2407,6 mio. tonne-km, with 7,9% less than in the January-August 2014.
