Dwelling stock of the Republic of Moldova at 1st January 2016

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, as of January 1, 2016, the dwelling stock of the Republic of Moldova constituted 81531,3 thousand m², of which in the urban localities - 32485,5 thousand m² or 39,8% of the total dwelling stock and in the rural localities - 49046,0 thousand m² or 60,4%. The level of population endowment with dwellings per inhabitant represented, in average, 22,9 m², of which 21,5 m² - in urban localities and 24,0 m² - in rural localities.
