National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2016, 306,3 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 185,0 thou. Moldovan tourists (60,4% from total) and 121,3 thou. foreign tourists (39,6%). In comparison with 2015 the number of tourists has increased (+9,8%), mainly due to the increase with 2,3 times of the number of tourists in touristic and agrotouristic pensions and with (+21,8%) in hotels and motels.
