Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-March 2017

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in March 2017 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1,2 mio. tonnes of goods, with 1,6 times more than in the previous month and with 13,7% compared to March 2016. The turnover of goods in March 2017 summed up 380,5 mio. tonne-km, with 23,4% more than in February 2017 and with 16,4% - compared to March 2016.

In January-March 2017 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 2,5 mio. tonnes of goods, with 13,2% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 934,2 mio. tonne-km, with 19,9% more than in the January-March 2016.
