Average life length in the Republic of Moldova in 2016

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, average life length in the Republic of Moldova in 2016 constituted 72,2 years, including 68,1 years for men and 76,1 years for women. In 2016 was registered a decrease of deaths with 1417 persons compared to 2015, the mortality rate being 10,8 deaths per 1000 inhabitants. The infant mortality rate represented 9,4 deaths of children under 1 year per 1000 live births.
