The Yearbook is a reference paper in the system of statistical publications, which reflects the phenomena and processes which took place in social and economic life of the country during 1999-2006.
The present edition of the Yearbook is organized in 22 chapters, and includes over 500 tables comprising an increased and complex volume of information from various fields: geography and environment; population; labour force; population incomes and expenditures; prices; dwellings; education and science; health protection; population social assistance; culture and sport; tourism; justice; National Accounts; industry; energy and fuel resources; agriculture; investments in fixed capital and construction; transport, post and telecommunications; information technologies; trade and services; finance; international statistics.
The main indicators are presented in territorial aspect, by forms of ownership, types of activity. Every chapter contains information regarding data source, and for main indicators there are presented methodological notes.
