The National Bureau of Statistics communicates data on the activity of early education institutions in 2019.

 

The number of 1486 of active early education institutions, including 829 - nursery schools, 543 kindergartens, 89 school-kindergartens, 23 community centers and 2 nurseries was registered in the country by the end of 2019 year. By destination, 3 types of institutions were distinguished: 1474 - with general destination, 5 - sanatorials and 7 - with special destinations. Fourteen institutions of the total number of early education institutions are private ownership type and 347 operate in urban areas.
