Attendance of collective tourist accommodation establishments in January-September 2020

National Bureau of Statistics informs that 66,2 thou. tourists attended collective tourist accommodation establishments in the period of January-September 2020, which constitutes 22,1% compared to the similar period of 2019. Of the total number of tourists, 43,0 thousand (or 65,0%) were resident tourists and 23,2 thou. - non-resident tourists (35,0%). 

In comparison to January-September 2019, the number of tourists accommodated decreased due to the reduction of the number in children summer camps (-99,6%), recreation structures (-80,9%), hotels and motels (-76,1%), in health-care structures (-65,9%), in tourist and agro tourist pensions (-37,3%) and in hostels for visitors (-52,6%).
