Activity of water supply and sewerage systems in 2020

In 2020, the total length of aqueducts and public water distribution networks expanded by about 500 km of newly built networks, or by 3,4% and amounted to 15,4 thousand km. Compared with 2016, the total length of water supply and public water distribution network was increased by 15,8%. Also, 49,9 km of aqueducts and public water distribution networks were rebuilt. The highest share of the length of newly built aqueducts and public networks was registered in the localities from the Center region - 209,7 km (41,9%) and from the South region - 181,7 km (36,3%).
