Industrial activity in January-June 2021

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2021, industrial production (gross series) increased by 20,4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, against the background of the decrease of production in June 2020 compared to the corresponding month of 2019 by 6,8%. The increase in production in June 2021 compared to June 2020 is due to the increases in the extractive industry (+18,1%), in the manufacturing industry (+21,6%) and in the production and supply of electricity and heat, gas, hot water and air conditioning (+8,7%), generating the increase of production on total industry by 0,7%, 19,0% and 0,7% respectively.
