Industrial activity in January-September 2021

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in September 2021, industrial production (gross series) increased by 13,7% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, against the background of the decrease of production in September 2020 compared to the corresponding month of 2019 by 7,9%. The increase in production in September 2021 compared to September 2020 is due to the increases in the extractive industry (+34,7%), in manufacturing industry (+14,2%), generating the increase of production on total industry by 1,2% and 12,6% respectively. In the same time the production and supply of electricity and heat, gas, hot water and air conditioning registered a decrease (-1,1%), generating the decrease of production on total industry by 0,1%.
