Industrial activity in 2021

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in December 2021, the industrial production (gross series) increased by 11,4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. The increase in production in December 2021 compared to December 2020 is due to the increases in the extractive industry (+6,3%), in manufacturing industry (+12,0%), and production and supply of electricity and heat, gas, hot water and air conditioning registered a decrease (+9,7%), generating the increase of production on total industry by 0,1%, 9,3% and 2,0%.
