Labour Force in the Republic of Moldova: Employment and unemployment in the first quarter 2022

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the first quarter 2022, the labour force (active population) of the Republic of Moldova, which includes the employed and unemployed population, was 854,2 thousand persons, increasing by 2,4% in comparison to the first quarter of 2021 (833,9 thousand).
