The touristic activity of the tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-June 2022

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-June 2022 the tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 142,0 thousand tourists and excursionists, or with 47,8% more than in January-June 2021.

The increase in the number of tourists and excursionists during the surveyed period is due to the increase in the number of participants in tourism departures by 32,5 thousand people (+50,8%), tourism arrivals - by 7,3 thousand people (3,3 times) and domestic tourism - with 6,2 thousand people (+21,3%).
