Industrial activity in January-April 2022

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in April 2022, industrial production (gross series) decreased by 10,4% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year. The decreased of production in April 2022 compared to April 2021 was caused by decreases in to the the extractive industry (-10,2%), in the manufacturing industry (-3,9%) and production and distribution of electricity and heat, gas, hot water and air conditioning (-48,9%), generating the decreased of production on total industry by 0,3%, 3,3% and 6,8% respectively.
