The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in March 2022 the producer prices in industry increased by 2,1% compared to February 2022, compared to March 2021 - by 19,8% and compared to December 2021 - with 7,1%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2011 doctoral studies were held in 46 institutions, including 31 scientific research institutions and 15 higher education institutions. The total number of doctoral students (excluding foreign students) was 1556 persons, whiсh is nearly the same number as in the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2011 number of deceased was 39220 persons, with 4411 persons (10,1%) less compared to the previous year. The general mortality rate constituted 11,0 deceased per 1000 inhabitants.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that according to prelimionary data the number of live-births in 2011 was 39176 with 1298 (3,2%) less than in 2010. The birth rate being 11,0 live-births per 1000 inhabitants. The birth rate in rural area is higher than in urban areas, being correspondingly 11,8‰ and 9,8‰.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that industrial production in January-February 2012 compared to January-February 2011 constituted 97,5%. In February 2012 compared to February 2011 the volume index of industrial production registered 98,9%.
17.04.2012 Global agricultural production in January-March 2012
National Bureau of Statistics communicates that agricultural production, in all types of households, in January-March 2012 increased with 0,6% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The increase of global agricultural production was determined by the increase of animal production - with 0,6%, with a share in total agricultural production of about 99%.

National Bureau of Statistics communicates that in 2011 living subsistence constituted in average per person 1503,0 lei, which is with 9,4% more than in 2010. The increase of the living subsistence is determined mainly by the increase of prices, especially for foodstuff products.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2011, monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 1444,7 lei, which is with 13,4% more than in 2010. In real terms (adjusted to the consumer price index) population incomes registerd an increase of 5,4%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in February 2012 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 3166,0 Lei, which is 9,8% more compared to February 2011.

National Bureau of Statistics informs, that exports of goods in February 2012 registered a value of 158,0 mio. US dollars, which is with 7,1% more than in the previous month and with 1,9% less compared to February 2011. Imports of goods in February 2012 registered a value of 389,0 mio. US dollars, which is with 14,8% more than in the previous month and with 9,3% - compared to February 2011.
10.04.2012 Evolution of consumer prices in the Republic of Moldova in March 2012
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in March 2012 compared to February 2012 the consumer price index (CPI) registered 100,2%, and 105,4% compared to March 2011. From the beginning of the year (March 2012 compared to December 2011) consumer prices increased with 1,0%.
