The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in April 2022, turnover in retail trade, in comparable prices, registered decreased with 2,5% compared to previous month and decreased with 5,7% compared to April 2021. In January-April 2022, the turnover in retail trade increased with 1,8% compared to January-April 2021.

The turnover of goods in May 2014 summed up 320,9 mio. tonne-km, with 3,0% less than in the previous month and with 7,8% - compared to May 2013.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-May 2010 the average salary of one employee in national economy constituted 2804,2 Lei and it increased compared to January-May 2009 with 6,2%. The real salary in the same period of time decreased with 0,5%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 2472,0 Lei, and increased compared to January-May 2009 with 7,7%, in the real sector of economy - 2997,6 Lei and increased compared to respective period of 2009 with 5,4%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-May 2010 industrial enterprises of all types of ownership, produced goods to the amount of 9997,4 mio. lei, in current prices. The volume index of industrial production in comparison with January-May 2009 constituted 106,1%, in comparable prices. In May 2010 in comparison with May 2009 this index constituited 111,0%.

In 2009 for the development of the national economy and of the social area, enterprises and organizations of all property forms, from the account of all financing sources, have used 10878.9 mln. leis (in current prices) investments in fixed capital.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2010 the prices in total for industry have decreased in comparison with April 2010 with 0,2%. In comparison with December 2009 the industrial production price index has increased with 4,7%, and with 8,1% in comparison with May 2009.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that exports of goods in April 2010 registered a value of 101,4 mio. US dollars, which is 14,1% less than in the previous month and 9,2% more than in April 2009. Imports of goods in April 2010 registered a value of 293,0 mln. US dollars, which is with 6,3% less than in the previous month and with 21,4% more than in April 2009.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2010 compared to April 2010 the consumer price index (CPI) registered 100,1%, and 107,9% compared to May 2009 (in May 2009 compared to April 2009 CPI registered 100,2 % and 98,4% compared to May 2008).
