30.07.2009 Remuneration of employees in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2009 the average salary of one employee in national economy constituted 2673,5 Lei and it increased compared to the same period of the previous year with 10,1%. The real salary in the same period of time increased with 8,9%. In the budgetary sector the average salary was 2345,2 Lei, and increased compared to January-June 2008 with 18,5%, in the real sector of economy - 2865,4 Lei and increased compared to the same perios of the previous year with 7,5%.
22.07.2009 Retail trade and services provided to population in January-June 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs you that in June 2009 trading enterprises sold in retail, consumer products in the amount of 1618,6 million MDL that is with 0,5% bigger in the total mass of commodities than in previous month and with 4,5% less as compared to June 2008. The volume of charged services rendered to the population by officially registered enterprises in June 2009 made up 972,1 million MDL that is 1,2% less in comparable prices than in previous month and with 2,9 % bigger compared to June 2008.
22.07.2009 Industrial activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2009 industrial enterprises of all types of ownership, produced goods to the amount of 10624,8 mio. lei, in current prices. The volume index of industrial production in comparison with January-June 2008 constituted 75,1%, in comparable prices. In June 2009 in comparison with June 2008 this index constituted 76,8%.
21.07.2009 Freight and passenger transportation in January-June 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-June 2009 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 3324,9 thou. tonnes of goods, or 37,0% of the total volume realized in same period of the previous year. The decrease of the volume of transported goods has been registered by railway (-69,2%), road (-50,2%), air (-10,3%) and river (-4,7%) transport.
20.07.2009 Population’s income and expenditures in the quarter I 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in the 1st quarter of 2009 population’s available income were in average of 1125,1 MDL per person, increasing with 2,9% compared to the same period of previous year. In real terms (adjusted to Consumer Price Index) population’s income registered a decrease of 0,3%.
17.07.2009 The evolution of industrial production price indices in the Republic of Moldova in June 2009
National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2009 the prices in total for industry have increased compared to May 2009 with 1,0%. In comparison with December 2008 the industrial production price index has decreased with 1,2%, and with 3,6% in comparison with June 2008.
17.07.2009 Global agricultural production in January-June 2009
National Bureau of Statistics announces that agricultural production in all types of households in January-June 2009 increased with 2,6% against the respective period of the previous year. The increase of global agricultural production was determined by the increase of animal production - with 5,1%, while vegetal production registered a decrease of 11,2% in comparison with January-June 2008.

The prices for construction-assembly works in quarter II 2009 decreased with 2,2% in comparison with quarter I 2009, with 22,4% in comparison with quarter IV 2008 and with 12,4% compared to the respective period of the previous year.

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in June 2009 compared to May 2009 the consumer price indices (CPI) registered 99,7%, and 99,2% compared to June 2008 (in June 2008 compared to May 2008 CPI registered 98,9% and 115,6% compared to June 2007).

Exports of goods in May 2009 registered a value of 100,7 mln. US dollars, which is 8,5% more than in the previous month and 20,4% less than in May 2008.Imports of goods in May 2009 registered a value of 242,9 mln. US dollars, which is 0,6% more than in the previous month and 38,6% less than in May 2008.
